Vendor Policy
This Vendor Policy explains the rules, responsibilities, and conditions for vendors selling products through Glovia Marketplace.

1. About Glovia Vendor Program
Glovia Marketplace Pvt. Ltd. is a multi-vendor online marketplace based in Nepal. We allow approved vendors, sellers, stores, brands, and business partners to list and sell their products through our platform.
By registering as a vendor or selling through Glovia, you agree to follow this Vendor Policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and any other marketplace rules issued by Glovia.
2. Vendor Eligibility
Vendors must provide accurate and valid business information during registration or onboarding.
Glovia may request the following details:
- Business or store name.
- Owner or authorized person’s name.
- Contact number and email address.
- Business address.
- PAN/VAT details, if applicable.
- Bank or payment details for settlement.
- Product category and brand details.
- Any other documents required for verification.
Glovia reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any vendor at its own discretion.
3. Vendor Account Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for keeping their account, login details, store information, product data, and payment information accurate and secure.
Vendors must not share account access with unauthorized persons or use the platform for fraud, illegal activity, misleading sales, or policy violations.
4. Product Listing Rules
Vendors are responsible for listing products with correct and complete information.
Each product listing should include accurate details such as:
- Product name.
- Brand name, if applicable.
- Product description.
- Price.
- Available stock quantity.
- Product images.
- Expiry date, if applicable.
- Size, color, variant, weight, or other product specifications.
- Return or warranty conditions, if applicable.
Vendors must not upload fake, copied, misleading, offensive, illegal, or incorrect product information.
5. Product Quality and Authenticity
Vendors must ensure that all products listed on Glovia are genuine, safe, legally sellable, and suitable for customer use.
Vendors must not sell:
- Fake or duplicate products.
- Expired products.
- Damaged or defective products.
- Used products sold as new.
- Illegal, restricted, or banned items.
- Products with false claims or misleading descriptions.
- Products that violate Nepalese law or Glovia’s marketplace rules.
If a vendor is found selling fake, expired, damaged, illegal, or misleading products, Glovia may remove the products, hold payments, cancel orders, suspend the vendor, or take legal action where necessary.
6. Pricing Policy
Vendors are responsible for setting accurate and fair prices for their products.
Vendors must not mislead customers with fake discounts, incorrect MRP, unfair pricing, or hidden charges.
Glovia reserves the right to correct pricing errors, remove misleading offers, reject unfair listings, or cancel orders affected by wrong pricing.
7. Stock Management
Vendors must keep their stock information updated at all times.
If a vendor accepts an order but the product is unavailable, delayed, or out of stock, the vendor must immediately inform Glovia.
Repeated stock errors, order cancellations, or unavailable products may result in penalties, reduced visibility, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from Glovia.
8. Order Processing
Vendors must process orders quickly and accurately after receiving order confirmation from Glovia.
Vendors are responsible for:
- Confirming product availability.
- Preparing the correct product.
- Ensuring proper packaging.
- Handing over the product on time.
- Informing Glovia about delays or issues.
Vendors must not delay, ignore, reject, or mishandle confirmed orders without valid reason.
9. Packaging Requirements
Vendors must pack products properly to avoid damage, leakage, breakage, contamination, or loss during delivery.
Products should be sealed, clean, labeled where required, and safely packed according to the product type.
Vendors may be responsible for refunds, replacements, penalties, or customer complaints caused by poor packaging.
10. Delivery and Handover
Vendors must hand over orders to Glovia’s delivery team, assigned delivery partner, or customer according to the order process decided by Glovia.
Vendors must ensure that the correct product is handed over in good condition and within the required time.
Glovia may update delivery and handover procedures from time to time based on operational needs.
11. Return, Replacement, and Refund Responsibility
Vendors must cooperate with Glovia in handling return, replacement, cancellation, and refund requests.
If a return or refund is caused by vendor error, the vendor may be responsible for the cost.
Vendor errors may include:
- Wrong product delivered.
- Expired product supplied.
- Damaged product supplied.
- Fake or duplicate product supplied.
- Missing item from order.
- Incorrect product description or image.
- Poor packaging causing damage.
- Order cancelled due to vendor stock issue.
Glovia reserves the right to deduct refund, replacement, delivery, or penalty amounts from vendor settlements where applicable.
12. Commission and Service Charges
Vendors agree to pay Glovia the applicable commission, service charge, platform fee, delivery fee, payment processing fee, or other agreed charges for using the marketplace.
Commission rates and charges may vary depending on product category, vendor agreement, campaign participation, promotional support, or marketplace policy.
Glovia may update vendor commission or service charges with notice or according to the vendor agreement.
13. Vendor Payments and Settlement
Vendor payouts will be processed after successful order completion, delivery confirmation, customer acceptance, and deduction of applicable charges.
Settlement may be made through bank transfer, digital payment, wallet, or another approved payment method.
Glovia may hold, delay, adjust, or deduct vendor payments in cases of:
- Pending customer complaints.
- Return or refund requests.
- Order disputes.
- Fake or suspicious orders.
- Policy violations.
- Incorrect bank or payment details.
- Legal or tax-related issues.
14. Taxes and Legal Compliance
Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, taxes, licenses, registrations, invoices, product safety rules, and business obligations under the laws of Nepal.
Glovia is not responsible for a vendor’s personal tax, business tax, legal registration, license, or government compliance obligations.
15. Promotions and Campaigns
Vendors may participate in Glovia promotions, flash sales, discount campaigns, influencer campaigns, featured listings, or seasonal offers.
Vendors must honor the agreed discount, offer, product availability, and campaign terms during the campaign period.
Glovia may remove vendors from promotions if they provide incorrect stock, misleading discounts, poor service, or delayed fulfillment.
16. Customer Communication
Vendors must communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, Glovia staff, delivery partners, and other marketplace participants.
Vendors must not abuse, threaten, mislead, spam, or directly pressure customers outside the platform.
Vendors must not try to divert customers away from Glovia to avoid commission or platform charges.
17. Confidentiality
Vendors may receive access to customer details, order information, business data, pricing, campaign details, or other confidential information through Glovia.
Vendors must keep this information private and use it only for order fulfillment and approved business purposes.
Vendors must not misuse, sell, share, copy, or disclose customer or Glovia information without permission.
18. Intellectual Property
Vendors must only upload product images, logos, brand names, descriptions, and content that they own or are legally allowed to use.
Vendors are responsible for any copyright, trademark, brand, or intellectual property violation caused by their listings.
By uploading content to Glovia, vendors allow Glovia to use such content for product display, marketing, advertisements, social media, campaigns, and marketplace promotion.
19. Prohibited Activities
Vendors must not:
- Sell fake, expired, illegal, restricted, or unsafe products.
- Provide false business or product information.
- Manipulate prices, reviews, ratings, or orders.
- Cancel orders repeatedly without valid reason.
- Delay order processing intentionally.
- Misuse customer information.
- Contact customers to bypass Glovia.
- Upload misleading images or descriptions.
- Use abusive or unprofessional behavior.
- Violate any applicable law or marketplace policy.
20. Penalties, Suspension, and Removal
Glovia may take action against vendors who violate this policy or harm customer trust.
Actions may include:
- Warning notice.
- Product removal.
- Reduced product visibility.
- Temporary account suspension.
- Permanent vendor removal.
- Holding or deducting payments.
- Order cancellation.
- Legal action, if required.
Glovia reserves the right to take immediate action without prior notice in serious cases such as fraud, fake products, illegal products, customer data misuse, or repeated policy violations.
21. Vendor Termination
Vendors may request to stop selling on Glovia by contacting the company.
Before termination, vendors must complete pending orders, returns, refunds, payment settlements, disputes, and other responsibilities.
Glovia may terminate a vendor account at any time if the vendor violates policies, creates risk, or fails to meet marketplace standards.
22. Limitation of Liability
Glovia provides a marketplace platform to connect vendors and customers. Vendors are responsible for their products, listings, pricing, stock, packaging, legal compliance, and customer-related issues caused by vendor actions.
Glovia will not be responsible for losses caused by vendor negligence, illegal activity, incorrect product information, fake products, delayed fulfillment, or failure to follow this policy.
23. Policy Updates
Glovia may update this Vendor Policy at any time. Updated policies will be posted on the website or shared through official communication channels.
Continued selling on Glovia after policy updates means the vendor accepts the updated policy.
